As I read a friends post of feeling the need to start over and thought back to a time when I too was doing that. I reached out and gave the best advice I could give. She wrote that her job was stressful and sucked. I told her to find at least one positive about her job and focus in on that. Its all about changing the way that you look and feel emotionally about life. The more positives that you think about, the more your life changes.
If you continue to throw out negatives to the universe, whether it is on purpose or not, you will get more of the same back. This is what I want you to do: Imagine your self in a bubble of white light, that only allows positive in and keeps negative out. Take several deep breathes and close your eyes, visualizing that bubble of protective light surrounding you. Breathe in through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Now, think of a happy thought and let it flow through out your body. Can you feel it, all the way down to your toes? While doing this, remember to smile and see if your emotional state changes. Even if for those moments of meditation, you are only feeling a brief moment of happiness, you just added years to your life!
The more that you can visualize good in your life, the easier it becomes. Make it a daily ritual, when you first wake up and things are maybe at peace in the universe. You know, before you have time to dread that day of work? Take a few moments to visualize how wonderful your day is going to be and keep that smile on your face while doing so. If you can not seem to visualize a good work day, at least make it a happy memory that will make you feel good inside.
Not sure if any of this makes any sense, considering that I woke up at 2 am and could not sleep. Maybe I went to bed way too early or maybe God wanted me to get all of this down so others can live a better life. Not sure of the reason, but I am wide awake. The dog is looking at me funny, so I may try to at least lay in the bed and rest, or meditate on all the great things that God is providing for me right now.
Have a great day folks!
